ATR (Automatic Temperature Reserve) System:
- Automatically reduces the working temperature to 350°F when unattended between uses. When picked up, the temperature will quickly climb back to the reserved temperature. This functional feature extends the longevity of the iron while also keeping the handle cool.
Operation:
Multi-function Power Button:
- Tap power button once to turn power on.
- While power is on, tap power button to toggle infrared heat on/off. LED indicator will display "IFr" while infrared heat is active.
- To turn power off press and hold power button a few seconds.
Twist Lock Feature:
- Hold iron closed and turn lock counter-clockwise to lock in closed position.
- Turn lock clockwise to unlock and open iron.
- Twist lock gives light resistance against unlocking to prevent iron accidentally opening. Holding the iron closed while unlocking will disengage resistance.
Care:
- Cord should not be bent at sharp angles or wrapped tightly around iron. Use the included cord strap. It is recommended the iron is used on hair with little or no hair product. Accumulation of hair product may cause unpleasant odors when iron is hot. Hair product accumulation can be removed while iron is unplugged and cool with cloth or cotton dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
